Weekly Notices
For the Week of
November 2nd thru 7th, 2009
Dear HCP Family,
Due to the increasing number of notices, and size of emails, I am going to try and post school activities here on this web format. You
will still receive emails, linking you here, or direct email notices as usual for shorter notes and updates.
Since this is a website, it will be available 24/7 to refer to. I will put a
link to this on the HCP Toolbar, so you can access it
directly anytime. I can also make quick changes that will be posted within minutes to our information. Since email is limited to so
many send outs per day, this may help when the schedule changes overnight for sports, assemblies, and general places , dates and
times.
Please bear with me as I convert to this newer system.
Thanks for reading!

HCP Parent Project

April McTiernan is coordinating efforts to purchase window blinds for Mr. Hounslow's Room.
She is asking for parents of other students in this class to contact her to help buy and get this done.
Mr. Hounslow's room has extreme sunlight in the afternoon and is quite warm in the spring and summer months.
Many items such as blinds, fans, paper and such are not provided by the public school system. Much like "school supply
lists" for students, teachers have materials that they must obtain, and that is where parent involvement comes into play.
At HCP, your students are given the opportunity to prepare for a college education, and are provided with many courses and
activities not found in other schools. There are also scholarships available, as well as college interview and placement help.
We in turn try and provide teachers with classroom amenities that might help out.
If you have a student who attends Mr. Hounslow's class, or are just interested in assisting, please contact
